Set In Venice with Jude Law – One Secure Security

The director Paolo Sorrentino came in local boat topa to do some filming directly on the Grand Canal , Palazzo Labia in Venice , was the set of filming Venetian ” The young Pope ” , the mini-series in eight episodes that the Oscar-winning director is turning these days in Venice .
But the most anticipated was Jude Law : the popular British actor arrived by yesterday by boat down the Bauer hotel ,opposite the Basilica of Madonna della Salute.
He will be the star of the TV miniseries on the fictional story of the first American pope .
Yesterday cameras were  in Piazza San Marco ” The troupe moves in the “living room” of the city, the scenery becomes Piazza San Marco. And on the set it is the most anticipated star, Jude Law, in the guise of Pope young protagonist of the series.
Tuesday all Venice eyes (and objectives) are all focused on the Hollywood star, who in the morning turns some of the scenes in the lagoon of “The young Pope,” the TV series in eight episodes Sky original production in collaboration with HBO and Canal Plus.
In the camera there is always the wise hand of Paolo Sorrentino, director Oscar for “The great beauty.”
Law took the pulpit set up in front of the Basilica, greeted by thunderous applause of the people in the front row of the faithful with a few sisters: the audience of course is part of the fiction film, about 500 extras that the appearance of the Pope broke into thunderous applause.
In San Marco, thanks to the sun peeping from early morning, the weather conditions are better than those of the previous day, when the shooting between the channels were marked by rainy weather at times.
Monday shooted Stefano Accorsi in the role of a politician, with some sequences shot in Palazzo Labia, home of RAI Veneto. Among the protagonists of the series also include Diane Keaton (Sister Mary) and Silvio Orlando (Cardinal Voiello). The cast then Cecile de France (Sofia), Javier Camara (Cardinal Gutierrez), Ludivine Sagnier (Esther), Tony Bertorelli (Cardinal Caltanissetta) and James Cromwell (Cardinal Spencer).
About 500 extras that should be engaged in the days of shooting in Venice, even at night, until 15 January.
