On 2014 , shooting took place from March 31 to April 4 2014 , the “Weinstein Company” has invested $ 90 million for a film about the youth of the Venetian merchant .
Richelmy Lorenzo, a young Italian actor will play in fact a highly rated young Marco Polo.
The film, produced in the U.S., is dedicated to the youth of the Venetian merchant and traveler, the production is by the “Weinstein Company” Harvey Weinstein.
“In shooting there were at least a hundred extras and affected six areas: Foundation Widmann, Campiello Querini, Punta della Dogana, Foundation de la Misericordia and Campo San Francesco de la Vigna.
The interiors have been filmed instead at the Palazzo Rota Ivancich. ”
